You only say that because you don’t have any imagination to consider what else it could be used for. This was just a demonstration and the true potential is enormous. You should have been at CES this year and seen all the 3D applications they are coming out with. They had several applications for this at the Tokyo Game Show last summer too. This is big stuff and it will catch on fast!
Fail?? Are you kidding?? The educational implications of this are enormous. Imagine having this in the classroom. It could monitor and respond to student expressions and let the teacher know when they aren’t getting it. Imagine how much more fun it would be for kids to have an interactive friend like this rather than programmed toys. Honestly I could go on for days about how cool this is!! I will be getting something like this for sure. Sony better think fast if they are going to compete.
