www.gearlive.com – At CES 2010, Microsoft announced that Project Natal would be launching in the Holiday season of 2010. They also played a video showing off the logic and concept behind Project Natal. Here’s a look at that Natal video.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you’re a good pot smoker

@17aKaT It’s funny because I actually have before its release and before it was renamed to Kinect. I was a beta-tester.
go work out fatty[
@subtenko There can be is the thing. The games could be the same, varying slightly based on the control method. PSeye and Natal basically shit alot of data at the console and it interprets it.
@Tehtog cause they devs would make 360 games first and then port it, thats the only reason. that wont matter with motion games. theres not gonna be a natal game on ps3 buddy X) 3rd party devs are gonna be devs like activision, like COD games. bungie is 3rd party now too.
that whole xbox360 vs ps3 thing fooled people in the beginning cuz the 360 multiplats were always made first. for Final fantasy they had to cut things from the game for the 360. the 360 holds things back.
@Tehtog I know what ya mean. someone asked that on the blog for the kung fu live game for the ps eye. They said they fixed things and the camera is way better so it wont spazz out or anything. The thing is some people have been fooled by these 3rd party motion games in the ps store right now because they are basically eyetoy games not using the ps eyes capabilities.
@Tehtog the wii doesnt move in 3D space though. it mimics the movement and the character moves for you i.e. wii tennis. wii cant move in 3D space
@SupportAlexJones F*ck yeah same
That is going to be fucking epic.. Wonder how much its going to cost.. i’m getting one for sure..
@subtenko did i say it had more potential? no. I said the multi platform games graphics were better. The PS3 has greater potential for the sheer number crunching factor. The ps3 has better shaders. 1st party would be microsoft? i assume you mean third party ie. Games developers?
Don’t believe me. go watch a video called “Xbox 360 Vs. PS3: Round 9 – Multiplatform Games “
@subtenko You got the email about it i assume. there was a typo, go see.
@subtenko In theory software can calculate given the size of the ball on the wand and fake depth perception. If the lighting is poor then the system will spazz out though. The Eyetoy was a FANTASTIC camera to be fair. Perfect as a cheap webcam.
@Tehtog why’d u remove ur comment?
@Tehtog yea it just depends on the person but some people r gettin confused on things.If I had a 360 right now PERSONALLY….i wouldnt buy both id just wait for natal 2…unless natal offered some interesting games i couldnt get with the ps move. u arent saying the graphics on 360 are better are you? bcuz every1 should kno the ps3 has the best. now….wat I dont kno from M$ is if 1st party devs are workin with natal,if not, no good graphics then.
oh & look at dvd and ps2. HDDVD wasnt greater
@subtenko @subtenko It doesn’t have native depth perception. We saw a user move a controller forward and backward relative to himself JUST like the wii.
@Tehtog yea thats what we are talking about the 3D space thing right? oh wait ur talkin about the depth thing, well yea we both know the ps move adds more too it but look at my 1st comment to you. if u cant find the video or find a source on google I can show u, i mean im not making it up really.
@Tehtog Not only did they show the eyetoy having depth in a video I saw (Dr. Richard Marks was presenting it) but games showed it as well. It depended on if you where farther away of closer to the camera. I can try to find the video for u but a google search is fast too.
@subtenko Go look up the specs. The ps moves accelerometer can judge distance, the Ps eye cannot. The problem being the wii’s problem that the movement is relative to the state at which the controller was initialized.
@subtenko I’m not saying the 360 is the way to go. Personally i prefer both for different reasons but if a games out on both consoles, I’ll buy it for my 360. The graphics are usually better. If you don’t believe me there’s a video showing them side by side.
Plus, To be fair. Every standard since the 1980s that sony ‘backed’ was the one that lost the war (betamax etc). Blu-ray had more potential but HD-DVD was the greater technological achievment.
@subtenko Please tell me how? Physically there is no way other than triangulation. The PS EYE doesn’t do depth but the PS MOVE can do depth. Problem is that the PS MOVEs depth is relative to the user and not to the camera.
