Question by Frequenxy: What do you think of Project Natal and the Playstation Move?
Hello.
I’d like to know how you feel about Microsoft’s and Sony’s new developments. I’m not looking for ranters about how much they already hate them, or because of the similarities to the Wii. Give me logical reasons of why you like/don’t like these new projects.
Personally, I don’t really care too much about the Playstation Move, but I am kind of interested in Microsoft’s plans. Completely controllerless gaming huh? Concept is interesting, but I’m not sure how that would play out with complex gaming.

I am not a hater or lover of any of the big 3 (Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo). I own all 3 of the big ones (Xbox360, PS3, Wii)
I personally like the ps3 the best.
I think Micro and Sony are playing catch up with Nintendo and trying to get the younger and casual gamer crowd back a bit. Nintendo has always been the front runner when it can to INNOVATION. Granted, they failed quite a lot. But they have also shined.
Micro and Sony have been completely unimaginative in my opinion. I think this is their attempt to say “Oh, look! We are doing this too!”.
I believe they are also trying to capitalize on their far superior graphics advantage and get some kick butt “aim and shoot” games.
It all just seems gimmicky to me at this point.
