I think they look great, but I am a little bit more impressed with Natal. The PS3 thing looks great too though. What do you think?

silly un needed gimmicks that might do more harm then good
its almost as if they admit the wii is better ( which it isnt the wii is solely gimmick driven )
controllers have been good enough since the atari 2600 and they are still good enough
these two gimmicks will be nothing more then over priced niche controllers with a few games that can not and wil not ever justify the money you spend on them
assuming they even do half of what they said they would do on the box
leave the motion detecting rubbish to that barley upgraded cube the wii thats all it is good for

I could care less about either. If I wanted motion controls I would have got a wii a long time ago. All they are gonna do is bring a bunch of shovel-ware and party games to the xbox and ps3 and take time and effort the developers could use in making good games. The PS3 motion controls are almost a carbon copy of the wii controls only a little more precise, wow. And natal looks like it has to much lag in the motion controls and will be almost impossible to use in games other than simple party games or weird “games” like milo, an imaginary friend how sad is that. I will stick with my plain old controllers for PS3 and xbox. If microsoft and Sony wanted to jump on the motion control bandwagon they should have done it sooner. All they are trying to do is play catch up to the wii because it is outselling the both of them.
they both look great but I think it comes down to the games. For example the wii was a pretty good idea but most (not all) games were crappy. I mean the whole idea was that you would use the controllers and swinging them around and stuff and I have some wii games where you don’t even use (or atleast need to use) the motion stuff. I think that aslong as the games are good those things should turn out fine
